Hi, I’m Juliana, the maker behind Carpenter’s Daughter. Every piece I create is handmade in my father’s workshop at my family home in Perth Road, Ontario.

Inspired by my dad’s dedication to preserving traditional carpentry, I aim to carry forward the skills and craft that women have passed down through generations. The photo above features my sister wearing a handmade dress and bag, just a few of the many things I’ve created for her over the years. After making so many pieces for the people I love, it feels right to begin sharing them with others. They are thoughtful, carefully crafted pieces designed to be used and loved for years to come.

I strive to use natural fibres and recycled materials whenever possible, creating pieces that are good for both people and the environment.
